Bada Institute for Educational Testing
The Bada Institute for Educational Testing (BIET) provides a variety of assessments designed to test critical thinking skills, knowledge of specific subjects and grade-level standards compliance. Students can apply to take BIET tests either through their school or directly through the BIET. Schools can complete a registration process such that they can gain the ability to administer BIET tests or offer courses which are part of the CLCS system. The BIET offers a variety of test sequences, with each sequence of test including several different tests which may be taken individually. The test sequences offered by the BIET include:

ESEST (Elementary School Educational Standards Test) - includes tests for each subject at each grade level (e.g. ESESTMATH3), for each grade level (e.g. ESEST3) and one overall test (ESEST)

MSEST (Middle School Educational Standards Test) - includes tests for each subject at each grade level (e.g. MSESTENGL8), for each grade level (e.g. MSEST6) and one overall test (MSEST)

HSEST (High School Educational Standards Test) - includes tests for each subject (e.g. HSESTWRLDHST) and one overall proficiency test (HSEST)

CLCS/CLTS (College Level Class/Test System) - a specially designed sequence of courses with complementary tests provided to students by schools which must gain approval to offer each CLC as part of the system.
