Bada Institute for Educational Testing

The Bada Institute for Educational Testing (BIET) provides a variety of assessments designed to test critical thinking skills, knowledge of specific subjects and grade-level standards compliance. Students can apply to take BIET tests either through their school or directly through the BIET. Schools can complete a registration process such that they can gain the ability to administer BIET tests or offer courses which are part of the CLCS system. Book a BIET test directly through by clicking the button below!

The BIET offers a variety of test sequences, with each sequence of test including several different tests which may be taken individually. The test sequences offered by the BIET include:

  • ESEST (Elementary School Educational Standards Test) - includes tests for each subject at each grade level (e.g. ESESTMATH3), for each grade level (e.g. ESEST3) and one overall test (ESEST)

  • MSEST (Middle School Educational Standards Test) - includes tests for each subject at each grade level (e.g. MSESTENGL8), for each grade level (e.g. MSEST6) and one overall test (MSEST)

  • HSEST (High School Educational Standards Test) - includes tests for each subject (e.g. HSESTWRLDHST) and one overall proficiency test (HSEST)

  • CLCS/CLTS (College Level Class/Test System) - a specially designed sequence of courses with complementary tests provided to students by schools which must gain approval to offer each CLC as part of the system.

In addition to test sequences, the BIET does provide individual tests for students, all of which are listed below.

  • CRA - College Readiness Assessment

  • EST - Effort Spectrum Test

  • MSAT - Middle School Admissions Test
