Become a T4N Project

Becoming a project of The4Network is straightforward and clear process - all you need to become a project of The4Network is a great idea or an existing organization, although it CANNOT be incorporated. If this is the case, you would need to dissolve your organization in order for it to become a T4N project. When your project becomes a part of T4N, it belongs entirely to us, though most of the time we'll just be there to guide your project along!

As a project of The4Network, you can expect to receive many benefits! A few of our awesome benefits include...

• Website space for your project on our website

• We handle all of your volunteer applications, shortlist volunteers for roles and then allow you to make onboarding decisions

• You can keep your team - easily transfer the team from your previous organization into the project which is now part of The4Network

• We provide a wide range of T4N resources your team will love - get access to discussion forums, the T4N learning management system and so much more!

• Training is also handled! With our easily customizable volunteer courses, you can quickly create volunteer courses for new volunteers and professional development

• We help with marketing! Send us posts about the project or ask us to create them and we will help "spread the word" in newsletters, on social media and more!

• You are part of an incorporated and well-known nonprofit - being a part of The4Network gives your volunteers and you a great name! We will check in regularly for updates on your project's progress and will complete a verification and evaluation process before you become a project to ensure the quality of your project and (if applicable) your team

• You have access to funding opportunities, too! You can reach out to us at any time with funding applications and we will take a look! Being an incorporated nonprofit, we will reach out to donors specifically for funding your project and will also cover new projects and recurring costs for your project (Note that funding is not guaranteed)

• You gain access to lots of volunteers! With our massive network of thousands of volunteers and a massive waitlist, we can find the right volunteers for your project and help your project have a successful launch!

• You can get access to resources created by other T4N projects, too! For example, you can use our distribution network from the Informaleon to easily have books and material kits created, or provide extra support to students with StudyBuddy.

• We will help you out when you need it! We can answer customer inquiries about your project and help with technical support too!

By now, you're probably wondering what it means to be a project of The4Network. As a project, all of your resources belong to us and we have complete control of the project. This is not to say that you can't remain in charge, however! In very rare cases (such as mismanagment, false marketing, or neglect of project), The4Network may need to designate a new leader for the project, though we usually try to help new project leaders by consistently providing guidance and support!
